racoooooooooon print

I love animals. Have I mentioned that? I love them. I hope someday to have like four big dogs and chickens, and alpacas. So I could play with dogs, have fresh eggs, and make my own yarn! I'd teach classes and everything! It would be so fun.

but you know which animals are annoying? Racoons. They get into your garbage at three in the morning, make a lot of noise, make a mess, and steal your dogs food.
That's why he is the bandit king!

a few inspired fabrics

I love fabric, ever since I was a child, I would beg my mother to let me get a pack of fat quarters of a yard from the local fabric store. I would take them home, lay them out, and often make doll or stuffed animal clothes out of them. I keep finding small shoeboxes full of fabric whenever I visit my mother.

Here are two swatches of fabric in my portfolio, one is a hand-stamp printed, painted, dyed and treated cotton duct, inspired by falling leaves. The other one is a discharge-silk-screened print of a weeping willow, based on a ink drawing I did.

hope you like!

testing 1...2....3

Here is a page including a few prints I have designed. I plan to alternate day by day with graphic designs and actual fabric swatches. If you like, please let me know!

Time for a new me!

The site will be under construction for a little while, so you might notice some little changes here and there. I am in the process of making this blog a little more design-centric, so bear with me during this time.
